Travel: From Seatac airport, Link Light Rail takes you (in 47 minutes for $3.25) to the U District Station which is 0.4 miles from the hotel and 0.4 miles from Alder Hall. A taxi from Seatac costs about $70. The closest parking is in the Central Plaza garage.
Description: Open quantum systems range from condensed matter to trapped atom systems, from theory to experiment, and from fundamental science to applications. To create a uniquely stimulating environment in this workshop, some invited participants will be asked to speak while others will be tasked with keeping the audience discussions lively.
Sponsorship: TIQM activities are sponsored by the University of Washington Department of Physics, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, College of Arts and Sciences, and College of Engineering.
